Located midway between
downtown Miami and Miami Beach, the Miami Children’s Museum is a fun-filled interactive environment with hundreds of things for kids to do. The museum is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning and enabling children to realize their highest potential. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine, and create. All interactive exhibits emphasize the arts, culture, community, and communication and include an indoor 30-foot rock climbing wall, a supermarket, a bank, police and fire stations, a television studio, and a health and wellness center. In addition to all of the exhibits, the museum offers daily programs, special events, performances, classes, and learning materials; Kid Smart, an educational gift shop; and a Subway restaurant for when you need to refuel.
