The Orlando Museum of Art is the one of the most popular destination for visitors from all over the world. Yes Orlando is known more for the theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios but Orlando does have strong roots to the arts. Once you walk into the Orlando Museum of Art you are greeted by a huge twenty foot tall glass Cobalt and Citron Tower which was designed by Dale Chihuly.

If you get are into art and you are going to be in the Orlando area you should make time to come by and see some of the permanent collections they have on display. These works were done by John Singer Sargent, Thomas Moran, George Inness, Georgia O'Keeffe, Ansel Adams, Suzanne McClelland, and William Michael Harnett. The Orlando Museum of Art is very strong in African art and art of the ancient Americas.
