GatorlandGatorland is part theme park, part zoo, and part educational attraction. This awesome attraction sits on 110-acre wildlife preserve and it is the home to over 200 alligators, many different types of frogs, birds, snakes, and any other reptiles you can think of. Gatorland opened in 1949 and it is as popular today as it has ever been. Back in 2007, Gatorland caught on fire and the future of the park was very much in doubt. Fans of this theme park both local and abroad sent money in to rebuild the park to its previous lustier. The park is now fully restored and is just as beautiful as ever. There are many live shows guests can see while at Gatorland some of these shows involve the alligators jumping out of the water to eat their lunch. There is a gator wrestling show, and a snake show involving some of the biggest pythons you have ever seen. Special Tip: If you are going to be visiting Gatorland with young children you might want to bring a swim suit for them. Gatorland has built one of the best splash parks for children between the ages of 2 and 12. Gatorland is one of the most popular budget theme parks in Orlando.
