Deep in Everglades National Park, take one of Gator Park Airboat Tour’s famous rides down the River of Grass. Experienced and professional guides help you spot alligators, soft-shelled turtles, and exotic wading birds.

Pass by a replica of a common fishing camp used by Indians, a palm and cypress wood structure called a chickee. Out here there is no dry land, except for the tree covered islands called hammocks where mammals such as raccoons, whitetail deer, and wild boar live.

Tip- If you are visiting Orlando you do not have to drive down to Miami to see gators. Almost every body of water in Florida has gators and Boggy Creek is one of the best areas see gators. The best thing about Boggy Creek is that it is very convenient to get to from our Kissimmee hotels.

Directions: From Miami & the Beaches: 836 W (Dolphin Expressway) past Miami International Airport. 836 merges with Florida Turnpike (821 S). Take Exit 25, SW 8th Street/US 41. Travel west on SW 8th Street for exactly 12 miles. Gator Park is on the left, at the large Coca-cola can with an Airboat on top.
