Gator Park AirboatGator Park Airboat rides is located in the Everglades National Park, which is south of Miami and nearly four hours south of Orlando. If you are the adventurous type this is a small drive to see some of the most magnificent creatures on earth. At the Gator Park Airboat’s professional guides will take you deep into the Everglades to see gators in their natural environment. One of the most interesting things on the Gator Park Boat Rides is the replica of a fishing camp used by Indians many years ago. These fishing camps where called chickee and they were made out of a mixture of palm and cypress wood structure. After you view the fish camps can also see many small tree covered islands where wild boar and dear live. These “swamp” dears as they are called can grow to be 16 points or bigger. After you return from the airboat ride you can take in a Gator Park’s Wildlife Show, here you will learn how the Indians used to wrestled alligators…you might even be able to see a live demonstration. Tip- If you are visiting Orlando you do not have to drive down to Miami to see gators. Almost every body of water in Florida has gators and Boggy Creek is one of the best areas see gators. The best thing about Boggy Creek is that it is very convenient to get to from our Kissimmee hotels.
